Payroll/HR Administrator -Professional Association/Exceptional Mentor and Excellent Corporate Culture. Richmond This highly respected association is looking for a Payroll Administrator/Accountant to add to its exceptional team. Working with an exceptional manager who really cares, this role provides an excellent opportunity to work with a well- established, stable organization. Job description: Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position is responsible for the full cycle payroll process including time verification and entry, direct deposit payments, and remittances and reporting to the various governing bodies. In addition this position is also responsible for HR responsibilities and be a asset to this growing, exceptional team. Key responsibilities include: - Prepare semi-monthly payroll for 60 employees - Reconcile and remit payroll and benefits reports and contributions - Assist in the benefits program - Preparation of income tax slips such as TD1 and T4 - Prepare monthly payroll journal entries - Assist in payroll budgeting process on a yearly basis. - Set-up new employees and ROE - Maintain vacation, sick days and flex day schedule on a monthly basis.Human Resources:• Maintain Human Resource Matrix• Monitor compliance with Employment Standards• Assist management with preparation of the Employee Manual• Assist with employee recruiting process• Conduct Human Resource orientation for new employees• Assist with performance review process• Keep abreast of new Human Resource developments and opportunities• Administration of Medical Services Plan and Extended Health Benefits• Respond to Human Resource inquiries as required Qualifications: · At least 2 years' experience in a payroll position · Exposure to full cycle accounting is ideal · Accounting Diploma/Canadian Payroll Association accreditation is ideal · You have a strong customer service approach to payroll and are positive and upbeat.
